NEED FOR WOMEN GET IN POLITICAL LEADERSHIP

It is very interesting to hear views and opinions of Political commentators,Members of Parliament and Non Government Organizations in my country Solomon Islands of supporting and opposing the idea. However some of the view that if women enter politics it will undermine the cultural norms of our society particularly in Melanesian Culture that Women have to submit. On the other hand in support of the idea it is good for women to enter politics because it is an opportunity for them to address issues that affects women and young women in Solomon Islands particularly domestics violence, prostitution and unemployment. It is obvious that if other countries such USA, Australia and amongst the few, having women who have the capacity to perform in political leadership and other government institutions and Non Government Organizations there are women in the country who can make a difference.
